Title:
The Mupeeps Take Minnepeepolis
Description:
Since the Mupeeps have recently been reunited and saved their theater in Hollywood, they decided it was time to take Minnepeepolis by storm! Together again, the gang plans to find a producer for their new musical, "Minnepeepolis Melodies," which is sure to be a hit in the Mini-Peepapple. Here they stand, on the historic Stone Arch Bridge, wide-eyed and hopeful of fulfilling their dream. Even Statler and Waldorf are eager for the Mupeeps to put on a grand show!
These Mupeep icons were created using a variety of peeps and fabrics (mostly felt) for the clothes and the inside of their mouths. We also used many other crafty products including feathers, yarn, beads, googly eyes, pipe cleaners and ribbons to complete their individual looks. The Stone Arch Bridge is complete with FIMO clay streetlamps and Minnepeepolis is complete with scrapbook paper covered boxes of the Guthrie Theater (and Statler and Waldorf), Capella Tower, IDS Center, Mill City Museum, Minneapolis City Hall (and Animal!), Wells Fargo Center, and North Star Lofts. We hope you enjoy this scene as much as we enjoyed making it.
